Off to a great start True to who? What a "dopey" song! See my Leroy Shield page! Not quite a polka, but not quite not one No need to flip LP over--technology marches on! There's this kiwi, see, and it bumps... The boys really cook on this one! Instrumental - not a word about Lucille! The lady has an appetite Another offensive Crumb cartoon Co-written by the creator of Coach Potatoes The Serenaders' Credo Better than Ukelele Ike's original! Address no longer valid - click instead! R.Crumb Robert Armstrong Allan Dodge

This is the debut album by R. Crumb and his Cheap Suit Serenaders.  It was released in 1974 and it is, as far as I have been able to determine, not available on CD, so it was transferred from my LP copy.  If it were released on CD these songs wouldn't be here not as 128 Kbps MP3 files, anyway and I would link you to where it could be purchased (c'mon, I have SOME scruples!).  Links have been provided for the two R. Crumb CD releases that are available. As I said, these MP3's are encoded at 128 K, so they're big, but they sure do sound nice and clear.   There are a few clunkers in the mix, but overall it's a very impressive achievement for a bunch of amateurs!
