Oh, I know they must be approved. I’VE ALWAYS KNOWN THAT! It was after 24 hours when it still wasn’t there that I realized that despite my constant stabbing of the post button, it didn’t take. I am getting to the point where I may go back to the Stone Age and give up social media altogether. It has brought me to tears one too many times. People on it are snippy at the least and I’m getting nasty, too.

I always liked these guys. Snappy tunes, great backup … oh yeah! It was really the ubiquitous and incomparable Wrecking Crew. PLus they always had to double-track Gary’s voice to give it some “oopmh.” Still, they cranked out one infectious hit after another.
Another example of an only “fair” voice who was still great was Nancy Sinatra. She stunned on “You Only Live Twice,” with none of that auto-correcting shit that goes on today. Back then producers knew how to get the best out of their artists the old-fashioned way, with great arrangements, many takes and over-dubbing. And of course, every girl my age wanted to BE Nancy in those boots and sky-high hair!
