Lurking in the Shadowlands

July 24th, 2008

I have the book by Brian Sibley, the BBC movie based on his original play is waiting to be watched, and on Friday my favorite (excuse me, favourite) radio station, BBC Radio 2, begins airing Ian Richardson’s serialized reading of Shadowlands. We Yanks will have to hope the installments appear on the listen again link.

Saturday note: “Audio stream is unavailable at this time” is what it says here.

It’s working! Go and listen now at that link above.

You’re very welcome, of course, Brian. This is a great coincidence. I only just recently came into possession of your book, and we’re about to have a family viewing of the BBC production. A total immersion sort of experience…

I had no idea about this love affair! Talk about your yin and yang couples! I’m making a note in my “Shed-ool” ;) to listen to Brian’s programme! Spit-spot! Jolly good! Man, some days I would do anything to trade living in this Mennonite/Amish/White Cracker Applachian Spring for a week in the Sibley Domain! My brain is atrophying!
