Let’s see you try to get a photo with RINGO, Dougie! You won’t get anywhere NEAR him! Sigh … “All I’ve got is a photograph … ”
Have a great time!

Hi! How was the concert? Ringo has always been my favorite Beatle and his solo stuff is great too. That would be great if you did meet him! The worst you could be told is “Back off, Boogaloo!” or “No, no, no, no!”…

Even with earplugs, the show was way too loud! Ringo did neither “Back Off, Boogaloo” nor the “No No Song.” Very well attended, and an enthusiastic audience, which was good to see.

Hi Doug! I know what that is like with the loudness-in 1992 I saw a zydeco band, Robert Palmer, and Cheap Trick in concert and the zydeco band, (which I wish I could remember the name of-it was the Terence-something Band and they had a midget in the group who was really funny-and the band was really good), and Robert Palmer had their sound at a good volume. BUT, when Cheap Trick came they were so loud that it was shrill and as they played you had this mild “bzzz” going on in your ears. It was at the Valley Forge Music Fair, which had the best acoustics, modeled on the Westbury Music Fair, and the stupid owners sold the land and had it razed for a stupid supermarket that went out of business. MORONS! I had seen Huey Lewis & The News there and Victor Borge and the sound there was great. Only in the Philly-area!
