Belgian Beauties Belting It Out
June 12th, 2008
More music from Belgium, but it’s very different from the Studio 100 pop stuff. This is the Scala & Kolacny Brothers Choir. The video player starts with their version of radiohead’s “Creep”, that you can see here I featured many months ago. There’s just a still picture for that one, but in the second clip you’ll see them performing a well-known U2 tune. And the last one is a video of “The Blower’s Daughter”, as featured in the the movie Closer.

I won’t even COMMENT on the title of the video!

Yikes! That’s my daughter-in-law Mandi, second from the left in the back row. How’d she get there? OK, I’m just now getting to listening to this. OK, OK, it’s GOOD! I mean, really good, both songs, but the use of the eff word is still unnecessary in my book. I wonder what the average age of those singers is?

Scala & Kolacny’s cover of “creep” has the f word because the original song has it. I used radiohead’s radioplay version in my previous post. The girls are something like 16 and up.
