Master Race Eats Shredded Oats

April 6th, 2008

One of my favorite cereals is Shredded Oats from Barbara’s Bakery. A big 25-oz. box is $3.49 at Trader Joe’s. Take a look at this master race mother and her flawless children on the back of the box.

Shredded Oats Box

Are they the products of healthy eating, or some secret engineering project in Aryan genetics?

Trader Joe’s is a US chain of specialty grocery stores. It’s possible, but not practical, to shop there exclusively for food. It excels is in selling inexpensive, high-quality imports, avoiding the common brands normally seen in American supermarkets.

What I want to know is, where’s the father in that picture? Oh. Of course. He’s in genetics lab cloning himself. Or perhaps he’s home, eating Shredded Oats.

Ah, yes, the very kind of mother and perfect children we overweight elderly mothers avoid at all costs.
