In Search of Steve Ditko - Part 5

This part of the documentary covers Ditko after he left Marvel. I really liked a lot of his stories for ultra-cheapie publisher Charlton, in Derby, CT. They were reminiscent of his mystery stories at Marvel before the return of super-hero comics in ‘61-’62.

    Something that I think needs more attention, and I’ll probably end up doing it myself, is that Ayn Rand’s books are as much romance novels as they are political philosophy. Based on that, I would think that Ditko might have appreciated Stan’s soap opera plots.
