Some … WHAT Blog?
November 2nd, 2006
AUGH! The jig and gig are up. Comedy Central knows the truth, and they’re out to stop us bloggers.
According to this item on ZDNet, YouTube™ is being forced to remove Comedy Central video clips. There are still plenty of Colbert clips online there, but for how long? Will they come after the cruddy bloggers?

They’re doubtless doing this so people will be forced to get CC clips from their own ad-supported video service (“Motherload”)… but at least the content WILL still be available, at least for a time. I doubt there’s an easy way to link directly to a particular clip (though I haven’t checked), and certainly it can’t be embedded, so definitely a nuisance.

This is what’s to be expected when there’s $1.6 billion in play. YouTube™ didn’t get so big from cute kitty videos!
