One of the many tactics of right-wing nutcases is to take a liberal’s willingness to consider various viewpoints and call it wishy-washy. Flip-flopping. But if a liberal stands his ground, as Bill Clinton did recently, they’re called unhinged and labeled a radical. (Bill O’Reilly isn’t unhinged??) I would hope that by this point, after everything that’s happened, we’re in the phase of, “you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.”
Tom says that’s the difference between liberals and ultra-right-wngers. We don’t need to hear the same crap over and over and over again. We want to hear both sides, and we only need to hear our side once. We’re not robots. So it’s not surprise we lose.
