“Some people are asking …”

Unfortunately, I neglected to record Chris Wallace’s interview with Bill Clinton today.  Fortunately, Fox News has posted the video in two parts.  Click the picture to watch.

Wallace employed the typical Fox News tactic, of saying that “some people are asking” a certain question, as if it isn’t themselves, when of course it is.  Except in this instance Wallace said, “Most of [the viewers who wrote] wanted me to ask you…”

The right-wing media will undoubtedly now characterize Clinton as having been ‘unhinged’ during his rebuttal.  They love using that word.  Unhinged.

Was Clinton ticked off?  Yes.  Repetitive on a few points?  Yup.  Overly reliant on referring to Richard Clarke’s book as the one factual source?  Sure.  But unhinged?  Don’t think so.

  1. Knew you’d beat me to this, Dougie. This was certainly Bubba’s finest post-presidency hour! It gave me GOOSE BUMPS! If only Mom could have seen it. You go, Bubba! Seeing Wallace ripped open and gutted like a fish by the usually laid-back Bill Cilnton was a rare treat. The guy always was eloquent, but as many have said, his temper was only privy to a rare few in his inner circle — until now …
