Military C(o)up

On April 12, 2003, not too long after “Operation: Iraqi Freedom” began, my son Eric was 11 and he came up with this idea.  I don’t know if it’s some sort of war commentary, or just a pun on the Folgers coffee slogan inspired by current events, but I would like to say that Folgers has a winner with its Half Caff coffee.

  1. I keep threatening Eric that I’m going to find the video of him explaining the solar system at age 2. Maybe now I should make a point of doing that!

  2. A keen allegory for the dead American/Iraqui bodies piling up in a totally needless war. Eric always was smart beyond his years, and still is! Back when he was only two or three, I believe, he had his mommy make a huge cutout of Jupiter so he could pretend to be that Levy-Shoemaker comet that was going to slam into it!
